Leaving a Legacy Donation
Making an Impact That Lasts
When we think about the legacy we leave behind, it’s natural to reflect on the ways we can make a lasting difference in the world. For many, leaving a legacy donation to a cause they care deeply about is a powerful way to extend their impact beyond their lifetime. At PAATC, legacy donations play a crucial role in sustaining and expanding our mission, allowing us to continue transforming lives and communities for years to come.
What is a Legacy Donation?
A legacy donation, often referred to as a planned gift, is a contribution made as part of a donor’s overall estate plan. These donations can be structured in various ways, such as through a bequest in a will, a trust, life insurance, or other financial instruments. The beauty of legacy donations lies in their ability to reflect the donor’s values and passions, ensuring their commitment to a cause they care about continues to flourish even after they’re gone.
The Power of Legacy Giving to PAATC
Legacy donations to PAATC are about more than just financial contributions—they are investments in the future. They provide the critical support needed to continue our work in various areas, each with its unique impact.
1. Funding Major Projects and Building Updates
Legacy donations can fund significant projects that might otherwise be out of reach. For example, a generous legacy gift could enable us to build a new facility, renovate existing spaces, or upgrade our infrastructure to better serve those in need. Imagine your legacy being a new, welcoming space where individuals struggling with addiction can find hope and healing, or a state-of-the-art kitchen that feeds hundreds of homeless individuals each week. These projects are tangible, lasting testaments to your commitment to making the world a better place.
2. Supporting Our Initiatives for the Homeless
One of the most pressing issues in our community is homelessness, and your legacy donation can play a pivotal role in addressing this challenge. By supporting our initiatives to the homeless, you help provide not just temporary relief but long-term solutions. Your donation could fund outreach programs, provide resources for emergency shelters, or support transitional housing projects. Every dollar given through a legacy donation is a step toward restoring dignity and hope to those who have lost their way.
3. Contributing to Our Long-Term Discipleship Program
At the heart of our mission is the long-term discipleship program, designed to help individuals not only recover from addiction but to rebuild their lives on a foundation of faith. Legacy donations can ensure that this program remains robust and accessible for future generations. Your support could fund scholarships for participants, enhance program resources, or expand our reach to more individuals in need. Through your gift, you can be a part of someone’s journey to freedom and transformation, leaving a spiritual legacy that echoes through eternity.
Why Consider a Legacy Donation?
Choosing to leave a legacy donation is a deeply personal decision, rooted in a desire to make a difference that endures. Here are a few reasons why you might consider this type of giving:
- Alignment with Your Values: A legacy donation allows you to align your financial resources with the values and causes you hold dear.
- Long-Lasting Impact: Unlike other types of donations, legacy gifts often have a lasting impact, funding projects or initiatives that continue to make a difference for many years.
- Tax Benefits: There can be significant tax advantages to making a planned gift
